Implant placement is also one of the top aesthetic solution for missing teeth.

Dental implants are metal cylinders that are implanted into the jawbone to make up for missing teeth. They are made of pure titanium, a biocompatible material, which means that, after installation, the organism does not cause adverse reactions, both on site, so no distant organs. In addition, the world's leading manufacturers have developed special techniques of implant surface, thus providing more successful and faster healing of the implant in the bone. Direct splicing built implants jawbone and a prerequisite of successful implant rehabilitation.

Implants can be used for compensation of one or more missing teeth, as well as to solve the problem of complete loss of teeth. For patients who are missing one tooth, implants avoids grinding of adjacent teeth, which is necessary if the tooth offset conventional prosthetic device.

For lack of more teeth, implants provide compensation without grinding their teeth remaining. Also, if the remaining teeth can serve as carriers of fixed prosthetics, implants installation that allows, or the person does not carry a mobile prosthesis.

Implants are successfully applied for solving the complete loss of teeth. Depending on the circumstances, after implantation can be made mobile or fixed bridge prosthesis which is fixed over the implants installed.

Limitations of the implant placement are relatively scarce. Except in extreme cases, implants are not implanted patients younger than 18 years, since it is necessary to wait for the completion of the growth and development of the jaw. On the other hand, there is no upper age limit for their implementation, which of course depends on the general health of the patient. Also, most of the systemic disease is not a contraindication for implant placement, provided that the patients appropriate treatment and the disease is under control. This is true for heart disease, diabetes and many others, with the intervention, often require the cooperation of doctors and dentists who treat underlying disease. At this point, systemic osteoporosis (as occurs in women after menopause), is not a contraindication for the use of implants, provided that the patient is not on drug therapy for osteoporosis from the group of bisphosphonates (Fosamax, Bonviva, Aredia). Also, implants are applied with caution in patients who have had radiation treatments to the head and neck.

Implants are implanted under local anesthesia. I am surgical procedure is similar to other oral surgery. The standard protocol means that, after installation, the implant remains unencumbered by the healing of the jaw. The duration of this period of healing depends on many factors and ranges from 3 weeks to 6 months.

Following the successful healing of the implant in the bone (osseointegration), the second stage is placed on the implant superstructure, which is part of the implant which is located in the mouth and on which it is made prosthesis. Then follows the planned development of a prosthetic device, in a manner similar to the natural teeth.

In some cases, it is possible to modify this protocol. This means that it is possible to install the implant immediately after tooth extraction, the extraction wound. Also, it is possible to create a prosthetic implant immediately after their installation.

In the first days after surgery can expect mild to moderate swelling of the face treated for the area, as well as mild to moderate pain. The regular use of anti-inflammatory drugs and analgesics, pain and swelling can be effectively controlled. Seams are mostly removed after seven days, which is the period during which there is a complete recovery from surgery.

Statistics show that more than 90% of the implants implanted successfully in the mouth for at least ten years after installation.

In individual cases, the life of the inserted implant can be much longer. With proper oral hygiene and regular dental exams, implanatat can last as long as a natural tooth.
